Spring is personally my favorite time for fashion because everything is pastel. If you don’t follow me on Instagram first, you totally should it’s @martabean and second, you wouldn’t know that I was accepted to study abroad for a semester in Florence, Italy! I will be writing loads of blog posts on this journey soon don’t worry but getting accepted has sent me into a bit of a shopping frenzy. Everything in my closet isn’t “Italy worthy” and I’m taking so many of my clothes to local consignment stores in hopes to get some money back to replace them. But of course my number one priority for Italy is to save my money for Italy so your girl has been shopping ALL of the sales.
When purchasing an item my new thought process is “how many different ways can I wear this piece?” I’m beginning to think this way due to packing for Italy. Unfortunately I cannot bring my entire wardrobe so I need to buy specific pieces that can be fashionable multiple ways and this skirt is my best purchase yet!
First guess how much it was…
…TWENTY DOLLARS! I snagged this beauty from the Urban Outfitters clearance section for 20 dollars during their 30% off sale! Now I’m hunting for more. Today I styled it with a simple white tee shirt but I think a band-tee or graphic tee would also look great. Going somewhere fancy? I would style this skirt with a white crop top and heels. Urban just raised their sale to 50% off and this skirt has disappeared from the site but do not worry they are a HUGE trend at the moment and are everywhere. You can purchase full price or wait for a Memorial Day sale 😉
I wore this outfit all day on Easter and was so comfortable while still looking fashionable. I can see this being a go to outfit when exploring the streets of Italy!
Always remember to Love Who You Are!
